Week 6 : Interaction Design....

Bahagian 1: Information design

Focused on planning the design and answered the question: “What is this product?”

Bahagian 2 : Interaction design

Focuses on the mechanics of the design and answers the question: “How should it work?”

Dr. Jamal juga ada menyatakan bahawa….
Interactivity in a computer products means that the user NOT a designer , control the sequence, the pace, and most importantly what to look at and what to ignore.

Dari sudut pandangan  Nathan Shedroff (1994)

·         Interactivity is about genuine human engagement. That's the measure of successfully "interactive" software. This means that the competition for interactive media products is as big as all of human experience.
·          In other words, your competitors for that CD-ROM on tropical fish are not other tropical fish CD-ROMs or even laserdiscs, but television documentaries, narrative and reference books, aquariums, scuba diving, travel, etc.
·          If the experience you create is not a compelling one (whether justified by the bounds of the technology or not), you will never find a large audience. (Shedroff, 1994)

Dr.Jamal juga ada menceritakan ada pelbagai bentuk STORYBOARD yang boleh digunakan untuk merekabentuk courseware.

Basic elements in interaction design:
·
 ·         Interaction
 ·         Navigation
 ·         Organization

                                                       Interaction Design: Organization

Basic principle Good Navigation design will:

 ·         Minimize Travel
 ·         Minimize Depth
 ·         Minimize redundancy
